It is that time of year again…SUMMER! Summer is a time for barbeques, beaches, and books at the Ridgway Public Library’s Summer Reading Program. “Be Creative at Your Library,” the theme for this year’s program, will last for 8 weeks with activity nights starting June 15th. Each night will begin at 6 PM. All children and adults are welcome to join in on the stories, crafts, games, treats, and the chance to win cool prizes. The dates are as follows:
June 15th I’ve Got Rhythm July 6th Now You See It July 20th Dance and Move August 3rd Free Play
Also this summer, the “Become a Star” reading club will begin. This gives you the opportunity to show off what you have read and then get rewards. Stop by the library to join after June 8th and start a reading log today!
Hey teens! Are you looking for something to do this summer? Well, the Ridgway Public Library has you covered. Along with the Summer Reading Program, we will be holding a Teen Book Discussion Group. This is a great way to spend time reading and getting to know others who like to do the same. Come to the library today to sign up and get more information.
Have any questions? Feel free to call or come on down to the Ridgway Public Library. Hope to see all of you this summer. Lights, Camera, Action! |
